James Norman "Slim" Chesney

James Norman "Slim" Chesney, 83, of Cabot, Ark. went to be with his Lord Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. He was a retired truck driver. James is survived by two daughters, Rose Stone of North Little Rock and Sylvia Bolin and husband, Michael of Hot Springs; two sons, Ricky Chesney of Ward and James L. Chesney and wife, Kay of West Memphis; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye White of Conway and Bernice Camp of Blytheville. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; two sons, Norman and Donnie; parents, Luther and Cora (Coleman) Chesney; one brother and six sisters. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
