Audrey Thomas Harris

Audrey Thomas Harris age 82, of Jacksonville passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013. He was born August 25, 1931 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late William Hurvey Harris and Sybil Harris. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army and was a Prisoner of War during the Korean War. Mr. Harris later retired from Remington Arms after 20 years. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Harris, children; Rebecca Kay Steele, Carol Elaine Wells, Mark Thomas Harris and his wife Sandra, his bonus children; Belinda Pearl and her husband Ricky, Cindy Highfill and her husband Johnny, Johnny Davis and his wife Laura, siblings, Opal Green, Ed Harris, John Harris, and Jerrell Harris, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Bro. David Talbert officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to Bayou Meto Baptist Church Youth Group 26200 Highway 107, Jacksonville, Ark. 72076 or a charity of your choice.
