Billy Jo Lawson, 66, of Cabot, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013. He was born December 13, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Donald Ennis and Geniva Colleen Johnson Lawson. Mr. Lawson was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot, a U.S. Army Veteran and worked many years for Union Pacific Railroad. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Mae Lawson. He is survived by his children, Ronald Pickard and his wife, Colleen of Cabot, Jimmie Lawson and his wife, Holly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Kelly Adcock and her husband, Edward Glenn of Cabot, and Holly Farley of St. Ann, Missouri; his grandchildren, Brittany Seal, Blake Adcock, Zack Barber, Gracie and Jake Lawson, Nicollete and Micollete Farley and Logan Galusha; great grandson, Maddox Seal; his sister, Carolyn Warren of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his brothers, Donald Lawson of Palm Springs, California and Jerry Lawson and his wife, Mary of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his brother-in-law, Howard Ballew, Jr. and his wife, Sharlie of Doniphan, Missouri; his very special friends, Bill and Jane Craft of Cabot; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services are 11 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot, with Pastor Daniel McDougall officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
