BILLIE LOUISE WEIR CANNON passed away from this life on Aug. 27, 2013, surrounded by members of her family in Little Rock, Ark. She was 83 years old. She was born on Dec. 1, 1929, in Bald Prairie, Robertson County, Texas to the late George Earl and Ethel (Dolly) Weir. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Russell; daughter, Cindy Clary (Steve), of Little Rock; and son, Jimmy Cannon of Monroe, La. She also leaves behind four granddaughters, Jennifer Coyle (Tim), Stephanie Land (John), Christina Cannon and Catie Williams (Michael), along with five great-grandchildren, Avery, John Henry, Caroline, Parker and Michael. Louise spent her school years in Breckenridge, Texas and was a devoted "Breckenridge Buckaroo." She later attended Tarleton State College in Stephenville, Texas. Her many happy years included camping trips to many National Parks with family, taking her granddaughters on vacation trips to the Gulf Coast and other locations with her husband, Russell, as well as sewing and making beautiful dresses for her granddaughters. She and Russell also enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Acapulco, New Orleans, Miami and other resort destinations throughout their marriage. One of their most special trips was to Pebble Beach and San Francisco with other family members on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Louise was a faithful member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ since moving to Little Rock in 1988. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300; officiated by Mr. Nick Hamilton.
