Jody Copeland

Mr. Jody Copeland, of Conway, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013. He proudly served in the US Army and defended his country during two tours in Vietnam. He was of the catholic faith and was raised with his four brothers at the St. Joseph Orphanage in North Little Rock. He attended high school at Subiaco Academy. Jody was an avid Razorback fan and looked forward to football season every year. Jody was blessed with a grandson whom he adored and cherished above all else in this world. He is survived by his daughter, Natascha Venus Copeland of Conway; his grandson, Jerrard Cole Copeland; two brothers, James Copeland of Cabot and John Copeland of Fayetteville; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Copeland was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Rosa Copeland; his niece, Tammy Copeland; and two brothers, Jerry and Arthur Copeland. The family has set up a memorial fund in honor of his grandson's education and they ask that you donate to this fund instead of sending flowers. Donations can be made at Centennial Bank in the name of Jody Copeland or you can send donations to 22 Starr Lane, Conway, Ark. 72032. Services will be held Sept. 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St Joseph Orphanage, 6800 Camp Robinson Rd., North Little Rock.
