Loyd Hudson

Loyd Hudson, age 94, of Hazen went to his heavenly home on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013. He was a World War II veteran having served in the Philippines and Japan. He was a member of the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Pauline Hall Hudson; his two sons, Glenn and Narris Hudson, as well as three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Ava (Bobby) Measels of Carlisle, Delorse (Bob) Hamric of Hazen; a sister, Jimmie Forrester of Lakehurst, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Hazen Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8, Tuesday, Sept. 3 at Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen. Memorials may be made to Center Point Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 941, Hazen, Ark. 72064.
