Dr. Malcolm E. Lehman, 71, of Little Rock passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. He was born in Shamokin, Pa. on May 15, 1942. Mal obtained a Doctorate Degree from The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1979. He was a professor who taught at many schools including The University of Missouri, Community College of Denver, Boise State University, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Webster University. In later years he taught management classes to employees of Blue Cross & Blue Shield. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ann Lehman. After moving to Arkansas in 1979 the two were very involved with the Little Rock Zoo and cared for many animals of their own. Dr. Mal was a music lover who played with multiple rock-n-roll bands and was known by many as "Dr. Sax". Visitation will be Friday, September 6, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock Ark. 72211.(501) 224-8300. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, in the Roller Chenal Funeral Home Chapel.
