Denis Alan Hall, 61, of Maumelle, died on September 3, 2013 at the age of 61. He fought a courageous battle with cancer but never walked away from the fight. He was born in Little Rock on December 17, 1951 to Chester and Virginia Hall. Denis graduated from Hall High School and worked in the family business for 44 years, leaving behind a legacy of limitless work ethic and generosity. He enjoyed shooting sporting clays with dear friends, traveling with his wife and cruising the back roads of Arkansas in his corvette. A favorite pastime was visiting with neighbors while watching the spectacular sunsets over the Arkansas River from his home in Maumelle. Denis' greatest joy in life was playing with his four grandsons. Denis was preceded in death by his father, Chester Hall. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cindy, his daughter, Teri Cox (Cade), son, Scott Hall, (Whitney) all of Maumelle, his mother; Virginia Hall and brother, Gary Hall both of Little Rock, four grandsons, Tyler Lee Cox, Colin Jacob Cox, James Alan Hall, and Samuel Everett Hall. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Denis' name to Maumelle Friends of Animals, P.O. Box 13061, Maumelle, Arkansas or the charity of your choice.
