LEE ELLA ROBINSON, of North Little Rock, was ushered from labor to reward in her 74th season on Sept. 5, 2013. She was the First Lady Emeritus of New Zion Grove Baptist Church of North Little Rock. Time and space does not allow for a full accounting of the life of this precious Mother. She possessed a great demeanor and quiet sophistication. To know her was to love her. Lee Ella accepted Christ at the young age of 12 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Little Rock, where Reverend E.D. Doyle was the pastor. She served on the Usher Board and was a devoted choir member. She attended Stephens Elementary School, Dunbar Middle School, Horace Mann, and a Technical College. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and she served faithfully alongside her husband at First Baptist Higgins and New Zion Grove for over a span of 50 years. Her hobbies and passions included: singing, reading as a child, and listening to her favorite gospel singers, Albertina Walker and the Caravans, along with her sons group, Chosen, her favorite song which was written by her son, Pastor Stephen T, "It's Going To Be Alright", and listening to her husband, The North Little Rock Preacher during his career at KITA and to her son, The Bishop, on Sunday Morning Gospel on Power 92 and watching the Young and the Restless daily. Those awaiting to meet her in the presence of The Lord are her parents, Mr. Orange and Nora Lee White; sisters, Joyce Joy and Sally Harrison; brothers, Johnnie Lawrence and Dr. Freddie White. She leaves an abundance of love and memories to her devoted and loyal husband of 54 years, Reverend Ulysses Robinson Jr.; sons, Vincent (Crystal) Robinson of Dallas, Texas, Reverend Ulysses (Toya) Robinson III of North Little Rock, Bishop Kenneth (Brenda) Robinson of Maumelle, Pastor Stephen (Kahla) Robinson of Little Rock; daughter, Sonja Washington of North Little Rock; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Apostle Joanne Greene and Sara East both of Little Rock; brothers, Napolean (Francis) White of Milwaukee, Wis. and Clarence White of Little Rock; sister in Laws, LeeVesta (Fred) Young of Bakersfield, Calif., Sharon White of Rialto, Calif., and Mary Clinkscale of Little Rock; one brother-in-law, Melvin (Minnie Pearl) Robinson of North Little Rock. Public visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, 12 noon until 4 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary, 4511 East Broadway, North Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. at New Zion Grove Baptist Church, 404 Wallace Street, North Little Rock. Pre-celebration of Life Service immediately following the visitation. The final Home Going Celebratory Service will be shared at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 8205 Highway 161, North Little Rock., Her God Son, Pastor Eric Alexander will preach the Celebratory message. She will begin her eternal celebration in a land that shall never grow old. Interment, Friday morning, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8501 Highway 161, North Little Rock.
