Kay Deckelman

Mrs. Kay Deckelman, 74, of Hamburg, died Thursday, September 19, 2013. Mrs. Deckelman was a native of Crossett; a former resident of Memphis Tennessee, Dallas Texas, Columbus Ohio, Atlanta Georgia and Birmingham Alabama, having moved back to Hamburg in the Milo Community 23 years ago. She was a retired secretary for the Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill and was a member of the Egypt Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Adelle Peters Finley. She is survived by her children, Valerie Dark and husband, Kevin, of LaPlace, Louisiana and Melanie Deckelman of Crossett; a brother, Jerry Finley and wife, Sherry, of Lakeview; two nephews, Paul & Steve Finley. Graveside service and burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Pinewood Memorial Park with Rev. Lyle Hern officiating. Visitation will be at 1:45 p.m., Saturday at the cemetery.
