Lewis Ray Metzger

LEWIS RAY METZGER, 77, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord at 1 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013. He was born in Mayflower, Ark. on Nov. 4, 1935. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Muriel Metzger; sisters, Dorothy Esrey and Doris Stafford. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonita Metzger; his daughters, Donna Mullins and Charlie of Austin, Ark., Joyce Davis and Lee of Moundridge, Kan., and son, Roger Metzger and Michelle of Sheridan, Ark.; his sister, Reba Hall of Cabot, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Jason, Kellie, Rebecca, Leanna, Houston, Brittany, Justin, and Shelby; and nine great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all those he touched in his life. Pallbearers, Jason Metzger, Houston Davis, Justin Metzger, Johnny Esrey, John Esrey Jr. and Roy Lievsay. Make memorials to Salem Cemetery. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at East End Baptist Church, 4701 East End Road, East End, Ark. with burial to follow at Salem Cemetery, East End, Ark.
