He was preceded in death by his children, Everette, Gayle Shepard; father, Robert Shepard Sr.; mother, Daisy Spaight; brother, Rickey Spaight; special brother, Sylvester "Jug" Brown; grandmother, Della Middlebrook; aunt, Myrtle Shelton. He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Betty Shepard; children, Cynthia, Vicki, Earl (Anna), Kenneth (Diane) Shepard, Lisa Wilson, Jacqueline (Ricky) Crumpton, Sheila Shepard, Lisa (Johnny) Malone, Tracy, Rodnie Shepard; siblings, Curtis, Ineace, Caroline, Boise Spaight, Mourine, Napelon Taylor, Gary, Tammy, Tasha, Robert Jr., Timmy, Melvin Shepard, Edna Dyer; 35 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
