Thomas Henry Chapman

Thomas Henry Chapman, age 63 of Bryant, Ark., went to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Tom was born January 23, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.; to Arnold and Dolores Chapman. He and Kathy Stoverink were united in marriage on February 21, 1970. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals including the Purple Heart. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 36 years of service, a member of the Knights of Columbus Counsel #5898, and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Benton. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Stoverink Chapman of the home; one son, Brad Chapman of Bryant; one granddaughter, Macie Chapman of Maumelle, Ark.; one sister, Helen Hutson and husband Bill of Delta, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 816 West Cross Street, Benton, Ark. 72015, www.ourladyoffatimachurch.com or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish Prayers and KC Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Saint John's Catholic Church in Leopold with Rev. William Hennecke officiating, burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
