Phyllis Jean Simmons Doss

Phyllis Jean Simmons Doss, age 83, of Wilmar, Ark., died Friday Sept. 27, at home. Born Nov. 20, 1929 in Warren, Ark., a daughter of the late Lester Simmons and Iris Adams Simmons, she was a retired church secretary for Immanuel Baptist Church, member Immanuel Baptist Church and the widow of Bobby Doss who died Jan. 7, 1995. A brother, Harold Simmons, also preceded her in death. Survivors are two sons, Mike Doss and spouse, Leann, Hattiesburg, Miss., Tim Doss and spouse, Alison, Wilmar, Ark.; two daughters, Fran Bailey and spouse, Mike, Malvern, Ark., Donna and Joshua Savage, Wilmar, Ark.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
