Larry Lincoln Jones

Larry Lincoln Jones, 76, of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 28, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Larry was a resident at Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 12, 1938 in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, the son of the late D. Elmo Jones and Kathryn M. Kuhn-Jones of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. Larry was a graduate of Chambersburg Area High School, served in the USAF (1957-1960), and retired from St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock, the SVI Century Club and Toastmasters. Larry is survived by his sons, Mark H. and David Jones; daughter, Dawn Jones Cline; grandsons, Jonathan, Brandt and Erich Cline, all of Little Rock; formerly married to Lucia Hursey Jones; brothers, Bruce Jones of Hanover, Pennsylvania and Gary and wife, Maureen of Anna, Ilinois; sisters, Shirley Monn-Myers and husband, Richard of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania and Darlene Jones Cline of Shiremanstown, Pennsylvania; aunts, Frances Kuhn of San Clemente, California and Jacqueline Kuhn of Mountville, Pennsylvania; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Richard Jones; sisters-in-law, Lois Jones and Doris Jones; and brothers-in-law, George W. Parlette and Homer P. Monn, Jr. Mr. Jones' funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 3rd at Grace Lutheran Church, 5124 Hillcrest, Little Rock, with Reverend James Walter officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
