Kenneth Oliver, 65, of Malvern, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014. He was born March 17, 1949 in Weakley County, Tennessee to the late John and Frances (Smith) Oliver. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Draftsman for Mid South Engineering. He was a star quarterback for Dresden Tennessee High School and served in the United States Navy. Kenneth enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren grow up. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Casey Oliver of Dresden, Tennessee and step-son Matt Barrett (Kim) of Hot Springs; daughter Crystal Oliver of Dresden, Tennessee and stepdaughter Renee Ringgold (John) of Hot Springs; step-sister Joy Oliver Adams of Tennessee; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Evan Smith officiating. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
