Kurt Hennessey, 36, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. He was employed by Glazer's Distributors in Little Rock. Kurt earned his Eagle Scout achievement through Troop 295. He was an amazing husband, wonderful son and brother and an awesome father. Kurt loved everything about the outdoors. His ability to grill (especially ribs) was outstanding. Kurt spent many hours enjoying life and all that nature has to offer with his wife he adored and children that he loved with all his heart. He was the best husband a wife could ask for and the most wonderful daddy a child could ever have. He had a whole world of friends and will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Valerie (Roswell) Hennessey; his nine year old son, James Patrick Hennessey; his six year old, daughter, Marissa Ann Hennessey; mother, Celeste(Laechelin) Hennessey all of North Little Rock; brother, Todd Hennessey (Jennifer) of Conway; sister, Pam (Hennessey) Carrico (John) of Little Rock; father and mother-in-law, David and Rose Mary( Pruss) Roswell; brother and sister-in-law, Martin Roswell (Shannon) of Alexander; three nephews, Trip Carrico, Reid Hennessey and Seth Roswell; three nieces, Mary Katherine Hennessey, Kailey Grace Carrico and Alexis Roswell and an extensive number of other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Hennessey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the James and Marissa Hennessey college fund at Bancorp South Bank. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverwood Memorial Park.
