Robert Wesley Gingles

Robert Wesley Gingles, 92, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Springhill Baptist Hospital. Robert was born October 13, 1921 in Dodge County, WI the son of William and Edna Gingles. Robert served in the Army Air Corp from 1940 to 1945, serving in Africa and Italy. After returning from the service he attended the University of Wisconsin. He taught high school agriculture for several years and then went to work for USDA Farmers Home Administration. He married Marie Woerpel on April 11, 1945 and she preceded him in death in March 2007. He is also preceded in death by his brother Lloyd Gingles and two sisters, Mary Jane Haertl and Marguerite Schultz. He is survived by two daughters, Beth Hasek of Cabot, Ark. and Mary (Danny) Hicks of Bay, Ark., two grandchildren, Jennifer Hasek and Amanda Pearce and six great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church, Horseshoe Bend, Ark.
