Bonnie L. Chenault McNeil, age 88, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014. She was born February 13, 1926 in Owensville, Arkansas. Mrs. McNeil was a cosmetologist and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arch B. and Lena B. Ford Chenault; her husband, Chester L. McNeil; six brothers, Herbert, Horace, Floyd, Lilburn, Albert and Jess Chenault and five sisters, Ora Sanders, Corene Edmonson, Bertha Gwatney, Ola Murphee and Lavern Croxton.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ethelene and Evelyn Chenault; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 14 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Old Rosemont Cemetery. Bro. Richard Hamlin and Bro. Muncy Harris will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activities Center Fund at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
