Russell Dean Haney

RUSSELL DEAN HANEY, age 82, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Searcy, Ark. Russell was born on Jan. 11, 1932 in Little Rock, Ark. to Ollie Mae and Horace Dude Haney. He retired from the Rock Island Railroad and was a dedicated member and counselor to the Alcoholics Anonymous Association in Little Rock, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight other brothers and sisters. He is survived by Patricia Andrews, his caregiver for many years; two daughters, Sondra Bond of Cabot and Deborah Hulslander and husband Cory of Skiatook, Okla.; along with six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 9-10 a.m., with funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Arkansas Funeral Care in Jacksonville, Ark. on Monday, April 14, 2014.
