Jerry Don Childers

Mr. Jerry Don Childers, age 69 of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away, Monday, April 14, 2014. Mr. Childers was born on July 23, 1944 in Prescott, Arkansas to Herman D. and Clara E. Anderson Childers. Jerry Don was a retired music teacher for Gurdon Public Schools. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, were he volunteered as the Music Director. Jerry Don is survived by his wife, Patricia Rhodes Childers of Gurdon, his brother; Joe Childers, wife, Melynda of Sherwood, his sister; Glenda Tipton, husband, Jack of North Little Rock. Visitation, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at First United Methodist Church Gurdon, one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials to the First United Methodist Church Choir, 2nd and Walnut, Gurdon, Ark. 71743. Funeral service, 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church Gurdon with Rev.
