Mary Lou Ricketts Scales

Mary Lou Ricketts Scales, 61, of Watson, Ark. went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2014 at her home. Mary was born on May 18, 1952 in Dumas, Ark. to Richard James and Willadean Stephens Ricketts Sr. Mary was a member of The Watson Methodist Church and attended the Watson Assembly of God Church; she was a Bookkeeper for Smith Steele in Dumas for 15 years. She is Survived by her husband, Billy Scales, Watson, Ark.; mother, Willadean Pennington, Dumas, Ark.; a daughter, Kim (Curry) Branham, Gillett, Ark.; also three step-sons, Jerry Scales, Dumas, Ark., Bill (Linda) Scales, Fordyce, Ark., Joe (LaJuan) Scales, Watson, Ark.; two step-daughters, Karen (Larry)Neeley, Dumas, Ark., Nancy (Gary) Minchew, Benton, Ark.; three sisters, Carole (Henry) Denton, Foley, Ala., Patricia (Tommy) West, Dumas, Ark., Jamie (Terry) Gillum, Watson Chapel, Ark.; and a sister-in-law, Sonya (Steven) Bitely, Ward, Ark.; two granddaughters, Aydan and Everly Branham both of Gillett, Ark.; nine step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard James Ricketts Sr.; and a brother, Richard James Ricketts Jr. Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2014, 5-7 p.m. Griffin Funeral Home with Services Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 2 p.m., Watson Assembly of God Church, Watson, Ark. with Rev. Leonard Ricketts and Rev. Spencer Berry officiating and burial in Watson Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Ark.
