Vincent Rivera Jr., 70, left this earth to be with the lord on April 24, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was a proud Veteran who served in the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. Vincent known as "Pops" to his grandchildren was well loved by all. Vincent is survived by his wife of 53 years, Olivia Rivera; brother, Manuel River; sisters, Elva Trevino, Gloria Vuittonett and Emily Hunter; daughters, Kathryn (Rick) Stransky, Debra Smith, Sonja (Terry) Davis, Lisa (Jay) Butler, Roman (Jeri) Rivera; grandchildren, Heather McHughes, Jennifer Gentry, Josh Davis, James Allen Nicholds, Amber Tatum, Sarah Lancaster, Justin Turner, Brandon Ball, Brynne Beecham, Phillip Harrison, Austin Rivera, Kaitlyn Turner, Jakob Davis, Olivia Smith, Emily Butler, Cory Nivens, Laurie Nivens, Daniel Nivens; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Isabella, Nadia, Vivien, Allison, Brayden, Aubrianna, Mary Jane, Emma. He is preceded in death by parents, Vincent Sr. and Manuela River; brother, Lupe Rivera; son-in-law, Rick Smith. A visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29 from 4-9 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
