Betty Louisa Thaxton Shull

Betty Louisa Thaxton Shull, 79, of Glenwood, AR formerly of Dardanelle, Ark. passed into eternal rest April 24, 2014. Mrs. Shull was born October 29, 1934 in Dardanelle, AR to Frank L. and Ellen Stoddard Thaxton. Mrs. Shull who was known and loved as "Granny" was a graduate of Dardanelle High School, a retired medical records tech, and farmer. Granny was a magnificent cook and famous for her dinner rolls and cinnamon bubble ring. Granny was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Peter Allison of Texarkana, Texas and a brother John Thaxton of Dardanelle, Ark Those left to cherish all the memories of Granny are her dear husband Cecil Shull of Glenwood, Ark.; her daughters, Lou Jamison wife of Joey Jamison of Nashville, Ark., Elizabeth Ann Burnham of Appleton, Ark., and Sherry D'Amico wife of James D'Amico of Evans, Ga.; a son, Bob Shull husband of Wanda Shull of Rogers, Ark.; eight beautiful grandchildren, eight beautiful great-grandchildren and sisters, Patricia Brooks wife of Bob Brooks of Selmer, Tenn. and Marlene Vandiver wife of James Vandiver of Little Rock, Ark.
