Eva Dean McGarity

Eva Dean McGarity, 86, of Beebe passed away on April 26th, 2014. She was born in Delight, Arkansas to the late Garrett and Vera Harrison Gilleylen. Dean retired after many years from the Department of Mental Health/Rogers Hall. She was a member of Geyer Springs United Methodist Church and Murfreesboro United Methodist Church. Dean was preceded in death by her husband Thomas McGarity and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Eagle of Beebe and her son, Gary (Margaret) McGarity of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Todd Jackson, Courtney Eagle, Megan McGarity and Ashley McCollough; two brothers and three sisters and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her. The family wishes to thank the staff of Arkansas Hospice and Beebe Retirement for their loving care of Mrs. Dean. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, April 29th, at 11 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro, Arkansas.
