Henry Edgar Selby, 80, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. Born in Roswell, New Mexico to Harold and Verna Kinman Selby, he was a member of the West 65th St. Church of Christ where he served as an elder for over 30 years. Henry served 36 years in the Regular Army and Army Reserves and attended the first class of commissioned warrant officers at the Presidio in San Francisco. He retired from Lucent Technologies (SW Bell and ATT) after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Dr. Patricia Vickers and Shari Lynn Selby, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances J. Selby; daughters, Kimberly Joyce Brown (David) of Cabot, Patricia Lynn Parsons (Nick) of Conway and Melissa Renee Linkous (Jeff) of Benton; nieces, Kellye Hardin (Brian) of Springdale, Rebecca Vickers of Lubbock, Texas and Molly Howard (David) of Nashville, Tennessee; nephew, Tony West (Leone) of Alexandria, Virginia; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, May 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, May 2 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Mr. David Brown and Mr. Don McClain. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
