Norman"Norm" Francis Oliver

Norman "Norm" Francis Oliver, age 81, of Benton passed away April 26, 2014. He was born September 23, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and was of the Catholic Faith. Norm had a distinguished U S Navy career that eventually led him to employment with Dassault Falcon Jet and residence here in Arkansas. He not only found success at Dassault Falcon Jet, but his loving wife of 15 years, Pearl Lenora. After retiring, Norm was active in his community of Salem, and found joy in his family and his love of history, his daily newspaper and his crossword puzzles. He loved to fish and the peace of the Little Red River in Heber Springs, Arkansas which was also his choice for his final resting place. He is survived by his wife Pearl Oliver and his children, Brian Oliver, Steven Oliver, Brian Poston, Kathy Oliver, Michelle Wortham, Tiffany Moore and Cindy Wiggs, brother, Ken Oliver, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
