Lydia Delorise Boyle

Lydia Delorise Boyle, 94, died Wednesday. She was born in Holly Grove, Ark. on March 30, 1920, to Thomas Arch Lynch and Dessie Baker Lynch. She married James Marvin Boyle, who preceded her in death Feb. 17, 2008. She was a long time teacher and Director of West Helena Baptist Church Kindergarten. She loved children and working with them. Prayer and devotional started each day for her. She was a very compassionate person and was constantly trying to help people. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dessie Lynch; three brothers, John, Clyde "Sonny", and Walter Lynch; four sisters, Clara Lawson, Barbara Jo Watts, Gladys Catlett, and Edith "Bitsy" Webb. She is survived by one son, Jimmy "JC" Boyle (Judi) of Ethel, La.; two daughters, Mimi Smith (Robin), Louisville, Ky, and Marcia Dillard (Ronnie) of Pryor, Okla.; one brother, Kenneth Lynch, Yukon, Okla.; grandsons, Jim Boyle (Wendy), Baton Rouge, La., Scott Sevier (Jackie), Las Vegas, Nev., Hunter Dillard (Katie), Oklahoma City, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Emma, and Eden Sevier, and James Boyle III. Funeral service is Friday, August 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Brinkley First Baptist Church with Bro. Jim McDaniel and Bro Joe Garner officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarendon, by Fowler Funeral Home of Brinkley. Memorials may be made to Brinkley First Baptist Church or to Legacy Hospice of Brinkley.
