Jerry Robert Duch, 85, of Hazen, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 4, 2014. Jerry was born in Slovak, Arkansas to Julius and Mary Duch on November 15, 1928. He served his country in the army during the Korean War. He spent his entire career working as a farmer. He married the love of his life, Linda on March 2, 1973. He enjoyed the simple things in life, such as spending time with family and friends, working in his garden and building model airplanes. He was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Mary Duch; brothers, Albin, Daniel, and Richard Duch, and sisters, Bernadine Skarda and Lorraine Madar. Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda of Hazen; five children, Alecia Ozimek of Gurnee, Illinois, Sharon Gault of Carlisle, Arkansas, John Warren of Oceanside, California, Bill Warren and wife, Kym of Carlisle, Arkansas and Stephen Duch and wife, Amber of Sherwood, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Raymond Duch of Hazen. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen followed by a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak, Arkansas.
