Bernie Lee Blackburn

Bernie Lee Blackburn, 79, of Little Rock, transitioned from earth to heaven Tuesday August 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie Lee Blackburn Sr., mother Gertrude Blackburn and brother, William Blackburn. He leaves to cherish his memories his soul mate and caregiver, Pauline Blackburn, three children, Beverly, Vincent and Bernard Blackburn of Chattanooga, Tenn., three stepchildren, Reginald Leverett of Little Rock, Illya Jackson and Julia Williams of Dallas, Texas, 12 grandchildren and one brother, Merlyon Blackburn of Denver, Colo. Family hour Friday, August 8, 2014, 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Homegoing service will be Saturday, August 9, 11 a.m. Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Rd.
