Lonn Lee Ipsen

Lonn Lee Ipsen, 67, of Little Rock, passed away August 6, 2014. Born in Waukegan, Illinois, he was an accomplished and decorated high school and collegiate athlete, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education at Eastern Illinois University. He was a member of various community service groups. Preceded in death by his parents, Leylon and Gertrude Stimphl Ipsen and a brother, Brad Ipsen, he is survived by his sons, Marshall Ipsen (Amy) of Alexander, Turner Ipsen (Amanda) and Jeff Ipsen (Mollie), of Little Rock; sisters, Christine Russell and Kathy Smith (John), and sister-in-law, Ellen Ipsen, of Illinois; grandchildren, Peyton, Mia and Ethan Ipsen of Alexander and Violet Ipsen of Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Services will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Dustin Freeman and Rev. Carlton Cross.
