Lola "Tootsie" Radford King

Lola "Tootsie" Radford King, of Little Rock, died August 6, 2014. She was born September 11. in White County, Arkansas, to the late Mamie Lee Radford and George William Radford. She was a member of Tyler Street Baptist Church and took much comfort in her faith. Lola grew up in Griffithville and Happy, Arkansas. She moved to Little Rock after her high school graduation and worked for several companies, working in customer service and sales. She was a hard worker and led a busy life, and even in retirement she started her own successful business selling specialty advertising. Lola was a vivacious, unique, and outspoken individual. She loved people and loved to socialize, and she loved her friends. Her hobbies included dancing, fishing, and shopping. She was preceded in death by siblings Joe Radford, William Elvis Radford, and Mildred Radford Bowerman. Survivors include daughter Teri King Colaianni, and grandsons Scott, Drew, and Steven Higginbotham all of Little Rock She is also survived by a sister, Nona Radford Myers; a sister-in-law, Ruby Radford of Buchanan, Michigan; and nieces and nephews Robert and Julia Bowerman, Charles and Ann Bowerman, Randy and Pamela Glasnapp, and Linda Palapala. A service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300.
