Jessie A. Langston, age 94, of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was born in Conahatta, Miss. of parents Floyd and Freeda Woolf. She had a career as an elementary school teacher of almost 40 years serving in the Bigelow, Vilonia, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Crowley, La., and Little Rock school districts. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Paul and his wife Mary of Hot Springs Village and Mark and his wife Ann of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Chris of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Pete of Jefferson City, Mo., Alyssa of Springdale, and Sam of Little Rock; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10 am, Saturday at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, 661-9111.
