Dori Ann Talley

Dori Ann Talley passed away at her Tulsa residence Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014. Dori was born May 6, 1940 in Boonville, Ark. to Guy and Jessie Davis. Dori grew up in California and Oregon. She attended Central High School in Little Rock, Ark. She pursued a career in cosmetology and was known by many to be a master hairstylist. She owned the Talley Barber Shop in Mexia, Texas and she was a partner in the salon Cut Above in Little Rock, Ark. Dori was unmistakably a class act. She always served her clients well and always maintained a special ability to create beauty. Dori was preceded in death by her parents; her two children, John Robertson and Cindy Smith; and her siblings, Sue Choate, Bobby Davis, Grace Dowdy, and Billy Davis. She is survived by her husband, Miller Talley; step-daughter, Tracy Schneider; son, Phillip Talley; and her siblings, Linda Burkhead, Peggy Nelson, James Davis, and Dale Davis. A private graveside service will be held at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock, Ark. The family would like to extend a special acknowledgement to Saint Francis Hospice for their compassionate care during this time.
