Leota Jean Altom Blair

Leota Jean Altom Blair, 83, passed away Aug. 16, 2014, in Greenbrier, Ark. Leota was born Aug. 14, 1931, in Floral, Ark. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Bernard Alton Blair; her son, Jack Edward Blair; her parents, Herschel Stanley Altom and Anna Imogene Dossett Altom; two brothers, Stanley Wayne Altom and Noel Dean Altom; and her sister, Joetta Altom Beel. Survivors include two daughters and one son, Laura Blair of New Zealand, Kathy (David) Felkins of Greenbrier, and Joe Blair of Greenbrier. She is also survived by one sister and one brother, Alfreda Frazier of Floral, and Ronald (Sharon) Altom of Independence, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Special thanks are extended to the caregivers and staff of the Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center in Greenbrier, and to the caregivers and staff of Arkansas Hospice. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
