Jane Colvert Kinney

Jane Colvert Kinney, 86, of Little Rock, went to be with her Saviour on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Born to John Henry and Rosa Nell Colvert in Thornton, Arkansas on January 25, 1928, she was a member of Life Line Baptist Church and was retired from Arkansas Allergy Clinic. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Patrick Kinney (J.P.) Jr., five brothers and four sisters, she is survived by her brother, Marvin (Margaret) Colvert of Orlando, Florida; sister, Irma E. Colvert of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Parthenia Colvert of Searcy; many beloved nieces and nephews, and special friends, Charles and Marilyn Jones. Services will be Saturday, August 23 at 11 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Jeff Dial and Dr. Don Chancellor, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Line Baptist Church, 7601 Baseline Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72209 or Good Shepherd Cove Residents' Association, #3 Shepherd's Cove, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
