John A. Cleveland

John A. Cleveland, 76, of Lonoke died Tuesday, August 19, 2014. He retired from the United States Air Force, First Sergeant CMSGT E9, and served in the Vietnam and Korean Wars. Mr. Cleveland was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, participated in prison ministries, and was a board member of March of Dimes. John was a loving husband of 42 years to Betty J. Cleveland who preceded him in death in 1998. Survivors are his two daughters, Joy Cobb of Mazon, IL, and Gay (Duane) Scoggins of Plano, Texas; three granddaughters, Meigan (Phil) Hansett of Channahon, Ill., Amanda (Mark) Kucker of Plano, Texas and Kaitlyn Cobb of Morris, Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Caleb Scoggins of Plano, Texas and his namesake John Hansett of Channahon, Ill. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Concord Cemetery.
