David Akridge

David Akridge, age 59, of Little Rock, passed away, Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was born February 27, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio, a son of Donald Eugene Akridge and Earlene Adams Cheek. David worked 37 years at AT&T and was a member of Bigelow Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Ray Akridge. Survivors include his step father, Ralph Cheek (Grace) of North Carolina; brother, Lonnie Akridge (Katie) of Bigelow; step brother, Gary Cheek (Vicki) of Little Rock; step sister, Dawn Pugh (Randy) of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Vonda Akridge; several nieces and nephew, as well as a host of friends and his cat, Lucy. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23, at Bigelow Baptist Church with Bro. Cary Condray officiating. Burial will be at Volman Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
