Patsy Shephard Quarles

Patsy Shephard Quarles, age 72, died Thursday, August 21, 2014. She was born July 12, 1942 in Keo to Authur and Erma McPherson Shephard. She worked for many years at Munroe Shoe Factory, was a restaurant owner, was a member of the Jaycees and DeWitt Round Up Club. Survivors include her daughters: Stephanie Ann Fletcher (Dennis), Kimberly Quarles (Randy) and long time companion, Conald Gill, all of DeWitt, sister, Marilyn Sue Critser of Little Rock; grandchildren: Brandy Lee Nevins (Lance) and Jonathan Kirt Fletcher (Becky); great-grandchildren: Madison Lee Nevins, Charlie Jo Fletcher, Dalton Cole Fletcher, many nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jackie Roy Quarles and sister, Carolyn Shephard Staton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 26 at First Baptist Church, DeWitt with burial at Bayou Meto Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt.
