DAVID WHEAT GOSS, 72, of North Little Rock, Ark. died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014. He was born Sept. 3, 1941 in Little Rock, Ark. David is preceded in death by his parents Robert Wheat Goss and Daphna Lewis Storm; and his step-father, Fred C. Storm; and Charles Stephen Storm, step-brother. David graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with his Bachelors in Humanities. In 1968, David began theatrical studies at the School of Dramatic Arts in Santa Monica, Calif. under the tutelage of Agnes Moorehead and Karl Malden. David also functioned as Coordinator and Public Relations Director for the Agnes Moorehead Theatre Academy and served as Front House Manager for the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif. from 1971 to 1973. David and family returned back to Arkansas in late 1970's. He was instrumental in presenting and staging Agnes Moorehead's One-Woman Theatrical Show that was performed at Robinson Auditorium in Little Rock. He was also employed by the Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Company and the Arkansas Office of Aging as a Field Rep as well assisting in Publicity and Public Relations.; more recently as an Insurance Adjuster. David is survived by his three children and five grandchildren: son, Robert Wheat Goss II (Robin) of Elizabeth City, N.C. and their children Pearl, Isabella, Samuel, and Aidan; daughter, Fontaine Leonard of Little Rock, Ark. and her son, Charlie; and son, Jamie Robert Goss of Los Angeles, Calif.; by his brother, Steven Goss (Janice) of Hot Springs, Ark.; sisters, Martha Garrison (Dale) of Franklin, Tenn., and Cecily Storm of Fayetteville, Ark.; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A special thank you goes out to his nephew, Bradley Wheat Goss, for years of love and care. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., Aug. 26, at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends and guests for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Monday, at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., NLR, Ark.
