John Heard Harper Sr.

Mr. JOHN H. HARPER SR., 82, of Little Rock, went from Labor to Reward on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 at Baptist Health Extended Care. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lily Harper; brother, Gabe Harper; sister, Dorothy Harper, all of Bastrop, La.; great-great-grandson, Brennan Casey of Little Rock. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife of 64 years, Lucille Harper; sons, John (Donna) Jr., Frank (Rosetta), Nathaniel and Sammie Harper, all of Little Rock, Ark.; daughters, Alice (Jessie) Floyd, Margaret (Douglas) Portlock, Brenda Hull, all of Little Rock, Ark., Patricia (Leon) Wright of North Little Rock, Ark., Mary Adams of San Antonio, Texas; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law.
