Charles Floyd Cingolani

Charles Floyd Cingolani of McGehee, aged 66, died Saturday, August 23, 2014, at the McGehee Hospital. He was born May 16, 1948, in Lake Village, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Kate Cingolani of McGehee. He was a 1967 graduate of McGehee High School. He attended United Electronics Institute in Louisville, Kentucky, and was a member of the McGehee National Guard. He was also a member of the Delta Chapter of Ducks Unlimited of McGehee, where he won the D.C. Wimpy Award of 1986. He had been a member of the McGehee Men's Club. Charlie had worked in the pest control business but in 1984 formed his own lawn care service, in which he was still actively involved. He is survived by his wife, Myra Middleton Cingolani of McGehee; daughter, Melinda Brooke Cingolani of Little Rock; brother, James Perry Cingolani of Collins; sisters, Virginia Fowler of Dumas and Mary Mabray of North Little Rock. He is also survived by nephews Randy Fowler and Jacob Fowler of McGehee; Paul Cingolani and Nick Cingolani of Monticello; nieces Tori Pless of Oklahoma and Sara Mabray of Bryant. He also leaves behind beloved great-nephews, Jake Fowler, Devin Pless, Lyndon Foster, and Christian Lawson; great-nieces Jordan Fowler, Sloane Fowler, Delaina Cingolani, Marley Cingolani and Harper Mabray. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at Griffin-Cupepper Funeral Service in McGehee. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at McGehee First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Head officiating. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery.
