Polly Horton Emmons

Polly Horton Emmons, age 64, died August 24, 2014. She was born June 22, 1950 in DeWitt to Richard Malcolm and Susie Anna Turner Horton. She worked for Entergy and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children: Justin Emmons and Julia Emmons of Redfield; brothers: Tommy Horton (Wanda) and Floyd Horton all of Ethel, Jimmy Horton (Ruby) of DeWitt, Haynes Horton (Lillian) of Pine Bluff; sisters: Sue Noble (Philip) of Morrilton, Linda Cummings (Harley) of Carlisle, Judy DePriest (Ken) of Stuttgart, Nancy Posey (Ronnie) of Bartlett, Tenn.; and companion, Michael Herring. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Geraldine Maddox and Nora Watson; brothers: Max Horton and James Horton. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 28th at Essex Funeral Home Chapel, DeWitt, with burial at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens.
