Paul Timothy Zoellner, age 82, of Bryant, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. He was born February 11, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up "doing all the things boys do". Paul graduated from the Morgan Park Military Academy in Chicago. He moved to Bryant, Arkansas in 1951 and worked as a builder in central Arkansas. Paul loved to build and create but also loved farming and raising chickens. He played the organ, piano and banjo and was a good singer but most of all, he was a family man and loved hosting family events. Paul was very giving, faithful, honest, clever and truthful. He was a deacon in the Philadelphia Church of God, where he served for many years. Paul was admired by all who knew him, especially his family. He will be missed greatly. Paul was "Pop Pop", dad, brother and husband. He was a true gentleman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Adeline Zoellner. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Ray Zoellner; four sons, David Zoellner (Cheryl), Ray Zoellner (Rachel), John Zoellner (Dee) and Ted Zoellner; two brothers, Alan J. Zoellner and Russell M. Zoellner; sister, Tod Noteboom and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3 at Ashby Funeral Home.
