Stacy Wygal Grimes, 52, of Cabot, lost her fight with lung cancer Saturday, November 29, 2014 and is now wrapped in God's loving arms. She was born January 30, 1962 in Panama City, Florida, daughter of Bruce and Peggy Davis Wygal. Stacy was reared and received her early education in Watson Chapel, graduating from Watson Chapel High School in 1980. She was a compassionate, dedicated and caring nurse. Stacy always made her patients her top priority. She earned her LPN license in 1983. Stacy served patients in many places including Jefferson Regional Medical Center and Pine Bluff Nursing Home. After earning her RN license from Jefferson School of Nursing in 2000, she became Supervisor for med-surge floor at Rebsamen Hospital. She was the Director of Nursing for Springhill Nursing Home in Cabot and worked at St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville. Stacy last worked for Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. Stacy had a gift for taking care of people. Even outside of nursing, she was a very organized and caring person who put her family's needs above her own. She was an avid dog lover. Stacy loved and treated her dogs like her family. Stacy was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Michael Grimes of Cabot; three daughters, Julie Williams of Nashville, Tennessee and Brooke Miller of Cabot and Heather Barringer of Pine Bluff; son, David Grimes of Cabot; two sisters, Ellen Moore and Bridget White, both of Pine Bluff; three brothers, Brian Wygal of Mayflower, Kirk Wygal of Little Rock and John Wygal of Star City; six grandchildren, Matthew Grimes, Madison Barringer, Landen Barringer, Nathan Grimes, Ethan Grimes and Bryleigh Miller. Another grandchild, Baby Boy Williams, is due in February of 2015. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Scott Shafer officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Robinson's.
