Bobby Wayne Carr, age 68, of Bryant, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. He was born July 6, 1946 in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a son of Jude Carr and Lily Bell Anderson Carr. He was a Carman for the Union Pacific Railroad, Vietnam Army Veteran and member of New Hope Nazarene of Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marjorie Pruitt Carr of Bryant; son, Joey Carr and wife Deanna of Armorel; daughter, Amber Hiegel and husband Matt of Damascus; two sisters, Dorothy Flowers of Center Ridge and Leta Stroud (Warren) of Conway; grandchildren, Madison, McKinley, Monroe, and Mayson Carr, and Caleb Hiegel; three sisters in laws, Velma Carr, Shirlene Carr, and Glenda Barber; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, J.M., Alton, and Landon Carr.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 4th at the Harris Chapel with Pastor George Yarberry and Pastor Dennis Yarberry officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3rd at the funeral home.
