Charles William Hallman

Charles William Hallman, born in McClellan, Ark. to Hazel Turner Neal Hallman and JC Hallman on Jan. 17, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, J.T. Neal. After retiring from the Marianna Post Office at 47, he moved back to Cotton Plant to live until his passing on Nov. 19, 2014. His passion for hunting, fishing and riding the roads was known to all, his infectious personality made him many friends throughout his life. He remains friends with several Army buddies from the Vietnam War times. He leaves a son, Chuck (Alice) Hallman and his granddaughter, Hailee Ann Hallman, all of Lexa, Ark. He is also survived by his brother, JW (Claudetta) Hallman of Pine Bluff; niece, Jill Croft and Brad Hallman. He will be missed by his constant companion "Booger," his dog. A military memorial service will be held Dec. 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Cotton Plant Memorial Cemetery, with visitation following at First Baptist Church in Cotton Plant, Ark. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com
