Emery J. Crossland

Emery J. Crossland, 76, of Hensley, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014. He was born Aug. 31, 1938 in Tuckerman, Ark. to the late John Emery Crossland and Lola Hunter Crossland. He was a pastor for 28 years for the Faith Free Will Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, dad, Papa, Papa Jr. and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Opal Prince; daughter, Pamela; first wife, JoAnn and son-in-law, Richard. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Frances Tubbs Crossland; sons, Michael Crossland (Donna) of Mabelvale, Tony Crossland (Cora) of Fort Smith, Wayne Raborn (Lisa) of Hot Springs Village; daughters, Teresa Long of Tuckerman, Patricia Schulkers (Jim) of Guy, Robbin Hutson of Austin, Diana Deuink of Beebe, Devon Ricks (Rodger) of Little Rock; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Fee (Larry) of Little Rock and brother, Harry Crossland of Alexander. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 at Faith Free Will Baptist, with Pastor Michael Brooks officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Cheshier Cemetery in Elgin, Ark. Memorials may be made to Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 107 Wints Drive, Little Rock, AR 72206.
