Jeffrey Ryan Turley

Jeffrey Ryan Turley, 33, departed this earthly life on December 6, 2014 in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marge and Jack Dunlop, both of Little Rock. He was born August 1, 1981 to Jackie and Deborah Turley. He graduated from Little Rock Central High and went on to attend UALR and Pulaski Tech, completing two years of accreditations toward a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. He grew up playing baseball at Burns Park, where his minor and Senior teams won AABA State Championships. Jeff was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in Alaska. He was an all-around athlete, falling in love with Futbol (soccer) and was an avid fan of the Chelsea Futbol Club in London. His big smile and quick wit made you feel at ease, and he never met a stranger. He is survived by his mother, Deborah Turley of Little Rock; father, Jackie Turley of Morrilton; brother, Adam Turley of Little Rock; and son, Garrett Shipman of Birmingham, Ala.; also, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many loving friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 11 at 1 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 315 South Hughes St. in Little Rock.
