Theresa Marie "Mickey" Rowe

Theresa Marie "Mickey" Rowe, 92, of Camden, Ark., died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Camden, where she was a longtime member of the Rose Couples Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of NARFE and an honorary member of Ouachita County Medical Center Auxiliary. She loved the Lord and loved to cook, and particularly loved to make pies. She was an accomplished seamstress who could make anything from decorative curtains to men's and women's formal wear. She also enjoyed her vegetable garden. She was most of all a devoted, loving, and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Clyde R. Rowe. She is survived by one son, John P. Rowe and wife Peggy of Keller, Texas, her daughter Shelly Hardwick and husband Paul of Camden, Ark., four grandchildren, Britt Hardwick of Lowell, Ark., Bryce Hardwick of Camden, Ark., Tara Caudle and husband Jonathan of Little Rock, Ark. and John P. Rowe, III, and wife Stephanie of Keller, Texas, and two great-grandsons, Landon Hardwick of Pearl, Miss. and Parker Thomas Rowe of Keller, Texas. A memorial service for Mrs. Rowe will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Camden. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Great Hall of the church. Rev. Buddy Ratliff will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Camden. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
